Research Standards
These standards explain what Knownable publishes, what our numbers mean, and the checks applied before market information reaches a reader.
Policy effective 11 August 2026
Source hierarchy
Recorded-sale pages are derived from Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) transaction records. We distinguish completed registry sales from asking prices, developer price lists, availability, valuations, and forecasts.
For legal, regulatory, mortgage, tax, and residency claims, we prefer the responsible authority or the primary legislation. High-stakes guides published under the current policy must show their primary sources and the date those sources were checked.
Calculations and publication thresholds
Entity pages aggregate recorded sales and use medians to reduce the effect of extreme transactions. Built-up square metres are converted to square feet using 10.7639. Registry phases may be grouped under the project name people use in the market.
District and project pages are published only when the underlying data clears the stated minimum sample. A market median is withheld where the registry slice would be misleading even if the numerical threshold is met.
Editorial and automation controls
Knownable Research is an organizational byline; it is not presented as a licensed valuer, lawyer, tax adviser, or named expert. Automation may assist drafting and routine publishing, but the publisher remains accountable for the result.
Build-time checks block unsafe markup, future dates, unsupported categories, unqualified financial precision, regulator confusion, and new high-stakes posts that omit required primary sources, a source-check date, or a clear not-advice statement.
Corrections and limitations
Market records can be revised and regulations can change. A substantive correction updates the page's reviewed date; cosmetic changes do not. Report a possible error to hello@knownable.com with the page URL and supporting evidence.
Knownable provides general market information, not an appraisal or investment, financial, legal, tax, mortgage, or immigration advice. Verify current requirements with the responsible authority and a suitably qualified adviser before acting.
